The Third G.Gershwin International Music Competition 2017 is happy to present
The Outstanding Concert Series 2016-2017.
The Series will illuminate the upcoming III Edition of the
Gershwin International Music Competition.
The Series will feature finalists and laureates of Gershwin Competitions 2013 & 2015.
It will also spotlight international talents, who wish to apply to the Third G.Gershwin International Music Competition.
Programs might highlight a theme, focus on a specific time period, or illuminate the works of a featured composer.
All music lends us is inspiration, creativity, and rumination.
Presenting music by George Gershwin, The Outstanding Concert Series aims to build up classical music, and bring wold-class talents to the enthusiastic New York audience.

The Outstanding Concert Series 2016-2017 are open for all the finalists of the previous editions of the Gershwin International Music Competition.
Now applicants to the The Third G.Gershwin International Music Competition 2017 have an exciting opportunity to be selected for the competition's Semifinal Round by participating in The Outstanding Concert Series 2016-2017.
How to Apply
- To qualify, applicants need to participate in at least 2 concerts at the venues listed above.
- Fill out The Outstanding Concert Series 2016-2017 application form at the bottom of the page
Rules and Regulations
In case of a group concert, each performer will have at least 3 performances throughout the course of the concert.
For the finalists, living out-of-state, and out-of-country, the travel arrangements and housing in New York city will be the responsibility of the finalists. In case of special need, Gershwin Competition can provide partial assistance (ubject to discussion).
Special venue/occasion concerts will recommend a specific repertoire. Therefore preference of inclusion into those concerts will be given to the Finalists ready to perform the special repertoire pieces. For example, the concert at the Kosciuszko Foundation House in Manhattan will feature Polish composers (Chopin, Moszkowsky, Sharwenka, etc.).
